Jamaica

It's funny that all of our vacations — even ones to exotic, tropical locations that put Vermont's stream of endless gray days to shame — leave us happy and relieved to come home. Jamaica was warm, beautiful and filled with color; sitting in the sun after months of winter felt like coming to life again. The best things we did there were attend a cooking class and eat lots of spicy jerk chicken. But in the end, Dave and I couldn't wait to get back home. The very first thing we did upon landing — after the most turbulent, 14-seater plane ride in the world — was go to American Flatbread and bask in the weird and wonderful scene that is Burlington. And also to order a beer that wasn't Red Stripe ;)

Here are some photos we took on our trip. Hope you enjoy.
